Confusion over whether Victoria Station redevelopment plans will focus on housing or new offices
Plans to redevelop London Victoria Station are reportedly due to be filed either in late 2025 or early 2026. Network Rail told the trade title Building further details of the proposal will be published when a first round of consultation is held next year. The Local Democracy Reporting Service (LDRS) revealed earlier this month that Network Rail is working with Transport for London ’s (TfL) property development company Places for London to investigate the potential redevelopment of the site. Very limited information on the proposed scheme was included in a Westminster City Council document, which added the project would include housing . Network Rail confirmed the plans were in the early stages and that the intention is to turn Victoria into an integrated transport hub, though told the LDRS there were no other updates available.
