The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is giving a monthly £691 boost to individuals with any of the 25 listed health conditions. The Personal Independence Payments (PIP) scheme could mean you're entitled to this extra cash if you have a severe breathing issue affecting your daily routine. PIP amounts can reach up to £172.75 each week. Since the payment is made every four weeks, this totals about £691 per payout - over £8,000 per year. According to the DWP , PIP isn't awarded solely based on your medical condition or disability but also considers how it impacts your day-to-day life and mobility.
