XL Bully puppies for sale in London for £4,000 as roaring trade sees Gumtree and Freeads littered by breeder adverts
American Bully XL dogs are being sold as puppies for up to £4,000 in and around London as the controversial dog commands a high price. The breed has been hitting the headlines for all the wrong reasons and after a number of deaths and brutal attacks, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has announced a ban is coming in. Currently it is legal to breed, own and sell the dogs in the UK, but in a statement posted on X on Friday (September 15) the Prime Minister said: "It's clear the American XL Bully dog is a danger to our communities. I've ordered urgent work to define and ban this breed so we can end these violent attacks and keep people safe." The American Bully XL is the largest variation of the American Bulldog breed, a lineage of dog which includes the American Pit Bull Terrier, American Bulldog and English Bulldog.
