Big Brother was back on ITV2 on Wednesday night (October 23), and the housemates were greeted with a new task that transformed them into rats.

The housemates have been surviving on basic rations and gruel after continuously breaking the rules by discussing nominations.

In one scene broadcasted on the show, housemate Lily was seen in the bathroom, being sick and struggling on the loo after Big Brother secretly treated her to luxury food.

The Chinese takeaway worker has been shocking her fellow housemates with her unpleasant habits in the house, and it appears viewers are now also repulsed, especially by the sounds she was making.

Tension has been high in the iconic house as last night (Monday, October 21) it was revealed that Khaled faces eviction on Friday night alongside Izaaz, Nathan and Marcello.

Ali and Dean were immune after becoming Heads of House and that hasn’t gone down well with some of their housemates.

At first they matched Lily with Hannah in what appeared to be a strategy to shield young Lily, the 20-year-old from eviction for a second week.

However, their plan changed and they chose to save Hannah and Lily and instead nominate Khaled and Marcello for eviction.

During tonight’s episode of the TV hit reality show, sides are now forming in the house, after Khaled and Marcello were put up for eviction despite not receiving any nominations.

The decision sparked intense discussions among the housemates and Segun, Hannah and Khaled went on to break a major house rule as they discussed the latest evicted and plotted to boot out Ali.

While speaking to Marcello, Hannah went on to say: "If you and Marcello stay in and everything, I need the next HoH to be this group."

Segun jumped in and agreed with Hannah and said: "Yeah I think Marcello said it as well, he was like if I stay in, she (Ali) goes next week.”

Things took a turn as Segun made a brutal remark as he said: "I hear it. I can’t lie, we need to get rid of this wolf man. The red witch is coming".

The whole moment didn’t go unnoticed as Big Brother called everyone to the living room and revealed that the trio broke a house rule.

It didn’t stop there as Big Brother then played the conversation on the speakers in front of the housemates, who were left gobsmacked at the conversation.

Ali attempted to not draw any attention to the situation as she was seen laughing off the remarks. However Big Brother was far from impressed as the announcement continued: "Housemates… When will you learn?

"There have been multiple rule breaks regarding the discussion of nominations."

The housemates were punished by being put on a diet of porridge and no one was pleased. Later on in the show Segun apologised to Ali and the pair were on good terms again.

A murder investigation is underway in Datchet following a fatal crash outside the Liquid Leisure Centre at 4.07pm on Saturday (October 19). Thames Valley Police officers arrived at the scene on Horton Road and found a motorbike had left the road and its two riders, both boys aged 16 and both from Slough, were seriously injured.

They were taken to hospital, where one of the boys died this afternoon (Sunday, October 20). His next of kin have been informed and they are being supported by specially trained family liaison officers.

Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Inspector Stuart May of Thames Valley Police’s Major Crime Unit, said: “First and foremost, my thoughts are with the families and friends of the two victims, one of whom sadly died in hospital this afternoon. Initially, the reports of the road traffic collision were unclear.

"It was first reported that a bus was involved in the collision, which was not correct. Further, there was speculation that a police vehicle had been pursuing the motorbike before the collision, which was also untrue. However, due to enquiries by the force, it was established that a car may have been involved in the collision.

“A 56-year-old man from Datchet has been arrested, initially on suspicion of drink-driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving. Subsequently, he was further arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. He remains in police custody at this time.

“Our investigation is moving at a fast pace, with a number of enquiries ongoing, including obtaining and reviewing CCTV, forensic examinations, house to house enquiries, taking of witness statements and conducting interviews with the arrested man. I want to appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision or may have footage from the area on Saturday afternoon to please contact the force as soon as possible.

"No matter how insignificant you think the information is, please report it to us so we can establish what has happened. You can leave any information via our website or call 101, quoting this investigation reference number which is 43240504606. Alternatively, if you have any information or questions then you can speak to one of our officers who are conducting neighbourhood patrols in the area.”

Gladiators rebooted on January 13 this year, bringing back the original 1992 hit series. With it came a whole host of new Gladiators including Sabre, who will feature on Michael McIntyre's The Wheel, though it's not known which episode she will join.

But things haven’t always been easy for Sheli. The athlete confessed that she was attacked by her ex of eight years more than 10 years ago, leaving her with black eyes.After the abusive relationship, she was four dress sizes larger than she is now and used serial binge eating as a coping mechanism, she admitted.

The revelation was made in January during a Q&A session broadcast to her 195,000 Instagram followers.

It came after she shared a picture showing her huge transformation, reported MailOnline. She said: “I became very unhappy and unhealthy in a terrible relationship that ended very traumatically and I gained a lot of weight.

“I promised myself I would do better, be better and become a role model and a leader, to make myself and others proud and that's what I feel I have done.”

Sheli also has high hopes of inspiring women with her work. She said: “I truly hope Sabre will inspire and empower the younger generation of strong capable females just as the Gladiators I once watched inspired me to be a confident athletic woman. It is Sabre's time to shine - here come the powerful girls.”

A man in his 50s was stabbed in Enfield this afternoon (Friday, October 18). Met Police officers and London Ambulance Service (LAS) paramedics scrambled to the scene on Mandeville Road junction with Ordnance Road after receiving calls about a stabbing at 1.54pm.

Paramedics attended alongside the officers where they found the man suffering stab wounds. He was treated at the scene before being rushed to hospital where he remains.

Thankfully, his injuries have been assessed to be non-life threatening or life-changing by doctors at the hospital.

No arrests have been made in connection with the stabbing meaning the man's attacker is still at large. A crime scene has been set up on Mandeville Road which remains in place. The Google Streetview below shows where the attack happened at Mandeville Road junction with Ordnance Road.

The Met Police released a statement about the stabbing. A spokesperson told MyLondon: "Police were called at about 13:54hrs on Friday, 18 October to reports of a stabbing on Mandeville Road junction with Ordnance Road, Enfield. Officers and London Ambulance Service (LAS) attended and found a man aged in his 50s with stab wound injuries.

"The man was taken to hospital by LAS where his injuries were assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing. At this early stage, no arrests have been and a crime scene remains in place. Enquiries are ongoing."

BBC Ambulance aired a terrifying moment on Thursday's episode as they shared the sound of a patient assaulting their colleagues.

During the latest instalment, the East London ambulance crew were out at work when the distressing sounds of a patient assaulting their colleagues filled their radios as they had pressed the emergency button.

A narrator explained: "When pressed, an emergency button on a paramedic's radio cuts off all other communications and broadcasts openly to all crews on the channel."

The ambulance workers were left in tears as they heard the terrifying moment the patient shouted "I will kill you" at their colleagues in a crew emergency, reports the Mirror.

The East London ambulance crew's reactions were shown and one member was left in tears as they said: "That's really distressing," as they heard their colleague shout, "Help, help, help," over the radio.

The shaken crew members were able to get to a police station, which was thankfully across the road from the patient, as they fed back to their colleagues: "Yeah, we're okay" after the terrifying attack. They were advised to stay at the police station and away from the patient.

London Ambulance Service took to their official Twitter, now X, account to share the harrowing moment, writing: "Physical violence against our crews in London soared in 2023 by 39% #Ambulance #WorkWithoutFear", adding: "All our ambulances have been fitted with CCTV, audio recording, panic buttons and new monitors to help protect staff."

Viewers were quick to share their support for the ambulance service after the distressing scenes as one person said: "So frightening. You guys are heroes", another wrote: "That was just horrendous to watch, truly awful."

A different viewer said: "Shocking, sending love, thanks, and strength to you all."

"It happens - one of the young paramedics talking about how they were assaulted and almost pushed out of a window by a patient. Just awful #Ambulance," someone else penned.

BBC Ambulance is a documentary series that follows "life and death decisions on the frontline - from control rooms to the crews on the street" as viewers meet the people making sure every second counts.
