TfL boss warns Overground passengers to 'allow extra time' during February and March strikes
London Overground passengers are being warned disruption to services during strike days in February and March means they'll need to check before attempting to travel and 'allow extra time' for their journeys. More than 300 members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) union will walk out from Overground services for 48 hours on Monday, February 19 and Tuesday, February 20 and again on Monday, March 4 and Tuesday, March 5 in a dispute over pay. The workers are employed by Arriva Rail London and operate London Overground on behalf of Transport for London (TfL). No service is expected before 8am or after 6pm on some routes on strike days, with those that do operate expected to be busier than normal.
