Ofsted finds improvements at Herefordshire primary school
A PRIMARY school in Herefordshire has improved since its last inspection, with an ‘outstanding’ rating for personal development of its pupils and an overall grade of ‘good’. Gorsley Goffs Primary School has maintained its 'good' Ofsted rating since its last full inspection in 2013 but has improved when it comes to pupils’ achievements, a recently published report said. It also received an 'outstanding' rating for early years provision, with inspectors saying "children in Reception prosper from the day they join". The report said: “Pupils flourish at this caring and friendly school. They are courteous and welcoming to visitors. Pupils are happy at school, and this is reflected in the school’s high attendance.
