Le Creuset launch new £35 range with travel mugs and water bottles that rival Stanley

Luxury kitchenware brand Le Creuset has unveiled a new collection designed for foodies on the move. The range, which is more wallet-friendly than Le Creuset's traditional dishes, offers items priced between £35 and £40.

The line-up includes two fresh food containers: a 900ml Lunch Box (£35) and a 500ml Food Flask (£35), both featuring a colourful base and stainless steel lid - ideal for storing leftovers or whipping up a quick soup or pasta dish.

For those aiming to boost their daily water intake or keep their morning smoothie chilled, there are two new sizes of Hydration Water Bottle (500ml £35 and 1-litre £35). Coffee fans haven't been forgotten either, with the introduction of the 350ml Travel Mug (£30).

Bundle deals are also available, such as the Essential Hydration Bottle and Mug Set for £65, and the Essential Lunch Set for £70, which includes a water bottle and lunch box.

As expected from Le Creuset, all items come in an array of vibrant colours, including the brand's iconic volcanic orange, teal, cerise, nectar and many more. The new collection hit the shelves today (Saturday, February 2) and can be purchased online via the brand's official website, reports the Mirror.

As this is a brand-new range, there are currently no reviews for any of the items, but you can find plenty of feedback on its other ranges. The brand's cast-iron casserole dishes remain a firm favourite and are part of its signature collection.

There's also two Hydration Water Bottles (500ml and 1-litre)

Casserole lovers, take note – a range of dishes from 18cm up to the sizable 30cm are now on offer with price tags that might make you swoon, starting at £209 and going all the way up to £399.

Happy customers have been raving in the feedback section, with one enthusiastic owner saying: "Love love love!

"Can't fault. Thank you for creating such amazing products. I have a roaster which I purchased 4 years ago and it works as good as this casserole, I am and always will be very loyal to the brand!"

Another shopper said: "Heats fast and retains heat very well." However, one shopper found less joy in their purchase, noting: "All works good, but enamel lost shine after six months of usage."

They felt let down by the dishwasher experience: "It was destroyed by dishwasher. And information about it located only ini manual. While text on the box declaring - dishwasher safe. So it is not safe obviously! ".

On top of these kitchen must-haves, Ninja's jumped in with the Sip Perfect Travel Mug tagged at £40, ideal for your morning coffee or afternoon smoothie fixes. It's yours in an array of stylish shades like black, green, stone, and blue, and comes in two handy sizes – either 300ml or 400ml.

Marianna Spiliotopoulos, Le Creuset's Head of Marketing, waxed lyrical about their new collection: "For a Century, Le Creuset has been providing the means to cook delicious food at home and now we have the perfect way of taking it out and about too. Alongside the brand new food container products, we've given our topselling Hydration Bottle an update too.

"We're a big believer of buying once and buying right, and food for on the go should have a sturdy and reusable vessel, but one which one won't compromise on style. The On The Go range is a testament to our commitment to bold design, innovation, and sustainability."

Lidl to open massive West Ealing store with 10 jobs created

A new Lidl in West Ealing which will be over three times the size of the current branch in the area which is across the street but sadly set to close. Customers won't have to wait long to see inside as the upgraded store will open its doors on The Broadway at 8am on Thursday, February 20 after taking over a former Wilko early last year.

It sits directly opposite the supermarket chain's current site, which is set to close on Wednesday (February 19) after serving West London for nearly 15 years. There will be free food samples and exclusive Lidl Plus app offers available throughout the weekend to mark the occasion.

The multi-million pound investment has also created over 10 jobs and new starts are receiving £14.35 an hour following the increase to National Minimum Wage. The existing staff are also moving across the street.

The 1,371m² shop will be open from 8am-9pm, Monday to Saturday and 11am-5pm on Sundays.

Grant Shulton, regional head of property at Lidl GB, said: “We can’t wait to welcome both new and loyal customers through the doors as we’re confident they’ll love their new Lidl as much as we do.”

Lidl announced last week that it plans to open nine stores in the space of a month. The only other London area set to benefit is Canning Town, with additional branches planned for Preston, Walsall, Wombourne, Blantyre, Cwmbran, Oldbrook and Wells.

Users have been raving about the device. One reviewer shared: "This is my first Alexa Smart Speaker, as I wanted it to link with my Blink doorbell. It does an excellent job with this and I am also discovering the many other feature it has. The speaker produces a clear sound for it's size and it was very easy to set up.

Another added: "Bought this while on offer over Christmas, so far so good. Have it set up in conservatory, has dropped out a couple of times due to lack of signal, but not the fault of speaker. Unusual shape, would recommend," reports the Mirror.

But let's not gloss over the mixed reviews—the Echo Pop hasn't charmed everyone. A customer pointed out some niggles: "A reasonable level of sound and volume yet basic voice functions often are misunderstood. Does not pair with Spotify very well as Bluetooth disconnects and connects, similar on SoundCloud, bias towards Amazon music."

  • Search for Argos and click ‘Get Cashback Now’
  • Shop and checkout as usual
  • Cashback will then track and appear in your TopCashback account within seven working days of your purchase

If you're fresh to Topcashback, you'll only shell out £9.37, while previous shoppers get it for a smidge more at £9.78.

But if you want to get an alternative, there are some great deals to consider. Amazon has launched some discounted deals on Amazon devices for February including the Fire Stick TV 4K Max for £49.99. There's also the slightly less expensive Fire Stick TV 4K for £39.99 if you don't mind spending a little less.

'Students don't create noise': East London Subway shop to stay open until 1am every day

by
'Students don't create noise': East London Subway shop to stay open until 1am every day

A Subway restaurant in Tower Hamlets has been allowed to open until 1am every day of the week after telling the council most of its customers are students who don't make noise. The fast food chain, located at 379 Mile End Road, was applying for a new premise licence so it could stay open for longer.

The premises opened four months ago with initial operating hours of 8am to 11pm each day. Tower Hamlets Council's Licensing Sub-Committee considered the application during a meeting last Tuesday (February 4).

Asan Abdul Kadir Shahid, who was from the premises, said: "We've been open for nearly four months now and haven't received any complaints regarding the delivery drivers or littering - even during the rush hour which is the lunch hours and the evening hours. We've never had any issues, customers never drop anything outside - we believe our business can operate responsibly and harmlessly within the community."

The plans received one objection from the parish priest of Guardian Angels Church which is also located on Mile End Road. According to an email which was sent to Tower Hamlets' licensing team, the church was objecting on the grounds of public nuisance.

The church suggested Subway closes at midnight, as they were concerned customers and delivery drivers would be waiting around late at night and could cause noise issues. During the meeting, Cllr Rebaka Sultana asked: "We all know that there are many late-night food services in the area.

"Residents living above the shop, they will struggle to sleep at night due to excessive noise - what measures will you take to reduce this?" In response, Mr Shahid said: "We don't create any noise to be honest with you, the KFC next door, they have tenants above as well with about 10 flats above so they've never had an issue - I have spoken to them personally. To be honest with you, 99per cent of customers are students in this area, they don't create noise. They're all university students."

The committee considered how the restaurant was located on a major London road that was busy during both the day and night, and that any possible noise impact would be far less than if it was located in a quieter, more residential area. Mr Shahid went on to say last orders for deliveries are taken some time before the premises shuts and if the application was granted, Subway would continue operating in the same way.

After the meeting had ended, the sub-committee retired to make their decision in private. The sub-committee unanimously approved the application with several conditions. The venue's operating hours are now from 8am to 1am Monday to Sunday with the provision of late night refreshment from 11pm to 1am each day.
