Amazon shoppers have said they’re ditching Dyson and Shark for a more affordable vacuum cleaner that’s now 30% off. The Smoture VAC01 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner has been reduced to £119.50, a £50.49 drop from the usual £169.99.
It’s also been highlighted as an Amazon’s Choice product, which is given to highly-rated, well-priced items that are ready to dispatch immediately. This vacuum cleaner boasts a powerful motor with strong suction that the manufacturer says can tackle even deeply embedded dirt.
It features four cleaning modes – Eco, Standard, Boost and Auto – that can be selected on its touch screen display. In Auto mode, the vacuum cleaner will automatically increase its suction power to match the floor type, whether on carpet or hard floor.

The display also alerts you if there’s any blockages and displays the battery level, which can run for up to 60 minutes – or 18 minutes on the powerful boost mode. The free-standing Smoture comes with a wall-mounted charging station for storing the device while also providing a full charge in four hours, as well as providing storage for the included long flat nozzle and dusting brush.
The Smoture VAC01 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner has earned an impressive 4.8-star rating after more than 1,250 reviews, 96% of which are four or five stars. This beats Shark’s £189.99 Anti Hair Wrap Cordless Pet Vacuum and Dyson’s £229.99 V8 Advanced, both of which are rated 4.4 stars.
Of the Smoture, one happy customer said: “Worth every penny. I had the Dyson V8 Animal and this beats it. Not only is this far cheaper, it also performs better. It is lightweight but sturdy. You only have to press the power button once to turn it on/off, whereas you have to continuously hold the button for power on the Dyson. It has a convenient touch screen control for the suction power settings. The bagless compartment is also really easy to empty. It has the same wall-mounted stand but this is also designed to be free standing, so you can store it how you like. Highly recommended.”
