London weather hour by hour forecast during fireworks displays as Met Office issues rain warning

Many people will be heading outdoors to watch firework displays and bonfires this evening, Saturday November 4. However, the weather forecast isn't looking good - a yellow warning for rain has been issued by the Met Office for the whole day, and it includes parts of London.

The yellow warning was put in place at 5am, and continues until midnight. The Met Office says: "Heavy rain or showers falling on saturated ground may cause some disruption, particularly to travel."

The yellow warning includes South London - from Orpington in the east through to Croydon and Esher in the south west of the city. While further north in London, the forecast is fairly dry in the afternoon and evening, it's looking much less pleasant in Croydon.
