Emma Sleep, the company behind the Emma Mattress, has launched a sofa bed deal in time for Black Friday. The deal knocks £570 off their award-winning sofa bed.
The Emma Sofa Bed, which won the Ideal Home Bedroom Awards for 2023, was originally £1,899 and now costs £1,329. It comes in both dark grey and beige and has a water and stain protective coating.
The three-seater sofa comes with two single Emma mattresses hidden in a drawer underneath. They can be used to make two single beds, or can be attached together to form one double bed.

The mattress can also be flipped, which alters the level of firmness. Emma also promises the assembly of the sofa will take no more than 10 minutes, and the conversion from sofa to bed will take around ten seconds.
Review site Sleep Hero gave the sofa bed 4.3 out of five stars. They said: "When it comes to a sofa bed, Emma has everything you need. The Emma Sofa Bed looks nice in your home and works great for guests staying over the weekend.
"The polyurethane mattress is ideal for hot sleepers or guests staying over the summer months. Plus, you can arrange it as either a single, trundle or queen bed, depending on how many guests you have over. We recommend adding a mattress topper and a luxury bedding set to make your guests feel extra comfy and at home."
While the Emma sofa bed is only available from Emma Sleep, Argos also sells a number of sofa beds. Their highest rated is the Habitat Patsy, which costs £189.
Instead of a pull-out mattress, Argos' sofa folds backwards to transform into a flat surface. It's got 4.6 stars from 737 reviews, with one person writing "Bought three weeks ago and it’s very comfy. Easy to make into a bed."
Another said "We purchased this sofa bed for our bar that was finished approx a month ago. It is so comfy to sit on and relax, much better than expected!" However, one customer added "Terrible. Very uncomfortable and one of the legs doesn’t lock in place. Would not recommend this product."
