"The thicker bases hold the heat for longer and this took a bit of getting used to, when turning my gas hob down. The non stick is fantastic, on both frying pans, I slid a fried egg straight out on to my toast. This is Tefal's newest non stick and has been extensively tested and practically has no contamination from the non stick. This was another reason why I bought them. The lids all have steam vents to stop pans from boiling over.
