Amazon has slashed the price of a highly praised LEGO set. Originally £54.99, the LEGO Botanicals Bouquet of Roses is now £34.99.

Elsewhere, you can get the set for £54.99 at LEGO, £41.99 at Hamleys, and £46.75 at Argos. The LEGO flowers are a great alternative to the traditional Valentine's Day bouquet of roses.

The set comes with 12 roses and four baby's breath sprigs to build. Of the roses, four are in full bloom, four are blossoming, and four are in bud.

The set comes with a dozen red roses

The set has an impressive 4.8 stars from 2,393 reviews. One person said: "I’ve been a LEGO fan for years and have bought several sets in the past, but this Bouquet of Roses caught my eye as a gift. Inspired by how much I enjoyed those previous sets, I decided to get this one as a Valentine’s Day gift for my partner – and it was a brilliant choice!

"We built it together, which made the day even more special. The instructions were clear and straightforward. The finished product is stunning and looks fantastic as a display piece in the centre of our kitchen (alongside our other flower LEGOs). Delivery was quick but I did use Prime, and the set came very well packaged with no damage to the packaging. Sometimes, when you order this kind of stuff the box gets scuffed etc.

"I am pretty happy with this product, really enjoyable activity with my partner. Go watch something or put on some music and build away."

Another wrote "When I saw these I knew I had to buy them. They were a nice easy build, a little repetitive as it’s the same basis for each rose except the different head. The outcome is amazing though. With the amount of roses you get the price is very good for the product.

"I went and purchased a vase the day they arrived to place them on my side table (a vase isn’t included unfortunately hahaha). I only wish the stalks were a little longer and as most vases are rather long so I’ve had to balance them on the edge. If you’re looking to get these as a gift for the other half then don’t think twice, they’re the perfect gift!!

"One hundred per cent would recommend to any LEGO lover or if you want a romantic gesture to give to that lucky someone!" The only negative commenter from the UK who left a message said "Good item, but there were a few Lego bricks missing. Had to go to Lego’s website and order replacements."

Alternatively, you can try the Roses Flower Bouquet Building Set With Vase, which is £26.27 on eBay. If you'd rather opt for the real thing, get the Dozen Red Valentine's Roses Bouquet for £30 at M&S.
