Drake to headline Wireless Festival 2025 with 3 London gigs

Drake is set to perform three huge concerts in London this summer. These will mark his first UK gigs in six years, with some albums reportedly set to be performed in full.

Drake is headlining Wireless Festival's 20th anniversary in Finsbury Park this year, which runs from Friday, July 11 to Sunday, July 13. In a deal reportedly worth millions, the 38-year-old will perform on stage all three nights of the festival.

Other artists who were rumoured to be headlining the festival this year included Lil Wayne, Burna Boy and Vybz Kartel - although it seems Drake was the name organisers were after. Last year, Nicki Minaj, Doja Cat, Future, J Hus, and 21 Savage took to the stage as headline acts.

A source told The Sun: "It's been months in the making, and initially, no one thought they could pull it off, but Drake is all signed on to headline all three days of Wireless. Bosses are naturally overjoyed and expect tickets to sell out in record time.

"Exact set lists are still to be worked out but one idea that has been passed about is that Drake will perform some of his albums in full for the first time."

Drake last performed in the UK back in 2019 when he played seven nights at London's O2 Arena as part of his Assassination Vacation tour. However, the rapper did make a surprise pop-up appearance at the festival during Future's set in 2021, although this summer will be the first time Drake will have played one of his own gigs since.

The announcement comes only days after rapper Kendrick Lamar made a dig at Drake during the Super Bowl halftime show. During the show, Kendrick, who has been in a feud with Drake since 2013, dissed his rival several times and even brought his rumoured ex-girlfriend Serena Williams onto the stage, as well as SZA, who did date Drake in 2009.

Tickets for this year's Wireless Festival will go on sale next week, costing £113 per day. The pre-sale, for those who have signed up, will go live on Tuesday, February 18, at 12 p.m.

Fans with the Three mobile network can try and get one slightly earlier when tickets go on sale at 12pm on Monday, February 17.
