Croydon Boxpark's England joy and despair in pictures as fans endure stuttering performance

England's 1-1 draw with Denmark was watched at the East Croydon venue by hundreds

It was the same old story for England fans tonight (June 20) as the team faltered to draw with Denmark in the second group game of Euro 2024. But it was the same story at Boxpark in Croydon too where the lively fans vocalised every moment of joy and despair.

The venue next to East Croydon station has become famous as arguably London's rowdiest place to watch England games, with pints flying every time a goal went in at the World Cup in 2022. And on Thursday night it was no different as plastic cups and sprays of liquid went skyward at Harry Kane's 18th minute goal against Denmark.

That ecstasy didn't last long with Hjulmand's 34th minute equaliser that proved the final goal of the game, with England perhaps feeling fortunate to have come away with a point. See a selection of photos below from Boxpark Croydon, showing how fans enjoyed and endured the match.
