Girl, 13, arrested as woman rushed to hospital after being stabbed at South London home

A 13-year-old girl is in custody after stabbing an adult. Police rushed to Gaitskell House, Villa Street, in Walworth at about 10.30am yesterday (September 13).

The victim’s injury is not believed to be life-threatening or changing. She was arrested at a home nearby on suspicion of GBH.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at approximately 10.30am on Tuesday, September 12 to reports of a woman stabbed at an address in Gaitskell House, Villa Street, SE17.

“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and a woman aged in her 20s was taken to hospital for treatment; her condition is not life-threatening or life-changing.

“A 13-year-old girl was arrested at a nearby address on suspicion of GBH and remains in custody. Enquiries into the circumstances continue.”
