London Victoria Station reopens with major disruption after fire alarm sounded

London Victoria station was evacuated due to a fire alarm this afternoon (Tuesday, August 6). It went off shortly before 7.40pm this evening, according to reports, as crowds gathered outside the main station entrance.

It has now reopened with major disruption expected into the night.

Gatwick Express and Southern services are affected.

Most Gatwick Express trains are cancelled.

Some Southern trains are diverted and running to or from London Bridge.

Other Southern trains are being terminated before arriving at Victoria or being cancelled.
