Russell Brand is set to perform a gig at Wembley Park Theatre tonight after denying unspecified 'criminal allegations'. With the doors set to open at 5.30pm this evening (Saturday, September 16), it will come just hours before Channel 4 is set to air a Dispatches documentary.

The contents of the documentary , which will discuss a number of celebrities in the industry, is said to be potentially hugely damaging to an unnamed star.

The comedian Russell Brand said he had received an 'extremely disturbing' letter and email from a TV company and a newspaper, which he said listed "litany of extremely egregious and aggressive attacks".

A description of the comedian's show, called Bipolarisation, reads: "Rules and rule breaking! Democracy and freedom! We reach conclusions from mass confusion by polling the live audience. We want to hear YOUR opinion.

"After amassing a movement of 25 million people across his digital channels, the Community festival and the live show Stay Free; the cultural and political commentator and award-winning British comedian is back on stage."

Channel 4 have not yet confirmed the identity of who will feature in the Dispatches documentary tonight and it is not yet known what the 'serious allegations' they have mentioned are.
