Alison Hammond fans say she ‘glows from the inside out’ in NTAs outfit after This Morning snubbed at awards

Alison Hammond stunned fans with her National Television Awards outfit. She shared it to her Instagram, where she has 1.4 million followers.

She said: "I’m ready and off to the @officialntas so excited! Whatever happens if I forget... thank you for getting @thismorning and me into the categories with your votes. You are the best."

This Morning didn't end up winning any awards - they were nominated for Best Daytime Show, which went to The Repair Shop. Similarly, Alison herself lost out on Best TV Presenter to And and Dec.

The defeats didn't stop Alison from looking stunning on the night in a bespoke dress. The black outfit shimmered with sequins, and a tulle overlay acted as a cape-like coverup.

Her fans loved the outfits and rushed to the comments. One person said "you glow from the inside out" as another added "stunning, absolutely beautiful bless your heart".

While her dress was a bespoke creation, there are plenty of similar ones on the market. Boohoo's Damask Sequin Maxi Dress usually retails for £60, but is currently on sale for £48.

It's got long sleeves in place of Alison's cape, and sticks to the black sequin theme perfectly. Boohoo also sells a maxi sequin dress similar to Alison's.

The shiny black number has been discounted from £60 to £35, and boasts flowing long sleeves that mimic a cape. If you'd rather go for the short sleeve and cape combo, there are several options on the market.

The father of a bullied North London schoolgirl said he is a 'victim of a failing system' following her suicide. Mia Janin, 14, took her own life after receiving a torrent of horrendous messages on social media. The Year 10 pupil at the Jewish Free School (JFS) in Kenton in Harrow, North West London was found dead at her family home in Barnet on March 12, 2021. At an inquest into her death, North London area coroner Tony Murphy concluded that Mia, 14, 'took her life while still a child and while still in the process of maturing into adulthood', at Barnet Coroner's Court on Friday. Mia's father, Mariano Janin, paid tribute to his daughter, saying: "She was fantastic, she was very bubbly, good sense of humour, she was beautiful, she was very kind, very creative." Furious Sutton SEND parents slam 'disrespect' from council and announce end to 10-year partnership

A forum made up of parents and carers of children with special educational needs and disabilities has cut ties with Sutton Council, accusing the authority of a lack of trust and not working effectively with them. Sutton’s Parents and Carer Forum (SPCF), which has advised the council and helped shape SEND policy for around 10 years, cites ‘disrespect’ shown to them by Sutton Council as one of their reasons for deciding to cease contact with them as of March 3 this year. This decision could leave Sutton Council able to make SEND related decisions without any oversight or input from the parents they impact, however the council says it's looking into finding a new independent group to fill the void. SPCF is an Ofsted and Department for Education recognised body that has represented the borough’s SEND families for the last decade.
